Jaguars are endangered because of poaching and land clearing mostly. People kill Jaguars because there is a great demand for their fur to make coats and carpets. Jaguars habitat gets cleared for farms and ranches. There are about 15,000 jaguars left in the world and they might be big but they arn't invincible.
Jaguars habitat used to go all through south America and into north America. Their habitat has been destroyed causing them to become endangered. The farms and ranch owners that live near Jaguars kill them if they go near their farms.
